The majority of our team consists of volunteers from various professional fields who have devoted their time and talents to servicing the poor and sowing into the ministry to rescue and rehabilitate victims of human trafficking, prostitution and slavery.
Born and brought up in India, Israel obtained Bachelors in Commerce and Economics. He gained vast Accounting and Finance experience before immigrating to U.S. in 2000. Prior to founding INK Foundation, he worked in managerial positions with JP Morgan Chase and Citibank there building a successful career. He joined the School of Ministry at the Living Word Christian Center to equip himself in the Word of God. Israel oversees the Ink Foundation operations in India. With his exceptional managerial skills and finance experience, he embraces humanitarian work to bring INK Foundation’s mission of empowering, encouraging and improving human lives to reality.
One of Israel’s oft-repeated Bible verse is John 1:21 which reads “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” He incorporates his faith in ministering to staff and the beneficiaries of INK Foundation.
He is happily married to Mary and he has two daughters Sheryl and Jacinth.
As a pastor’s daughter Mary always had a heart for ministry. As wife, mother and a RN Mary plays various roles but her key role is to help INK Foundation in reaching out and overseeing the medical aspect of each individual. Her expertise in medical care gives INK Foundation the much needed help to bring about innovative programs for children and adults suffering with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B, C. Mary is an inspirational woman of God never afraid to share her faith; she walks in wisdom and grace. Her compassion wins people over. She loves to spend time with God in prayer and her family.
Jacinth Katta- Founder and Executive DirectorJacinth along with her parents went on a vacation to Europe and India. While in India she saw people that were diseased and in poverty with no help. After returning to the U.S., God stirred a desire in her heart to rescue and reach out these helpless people. Jacinth was inspired by Dr.Bill Winston’s teachings and as he released the word of encouragement she was moved by what he said: “You were born to solve someone else’s problems” these words triggered her into the direction of a vision for INK Foundation. A desire, a dream and a vision turned into reality just a year later. Helping people and showing them the love of Jesus Christ is her passion. Jacinth holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business and Theology from Trinity Christian College and has an MBA concentration in Non-for-Profit Management from North Park University School of Business and Management.
